Dental School Applicants: Dental School Personal Statements & More

Your personal statement is critical to distinguish you from the swarm of competitive dental school candidates. A one-on-one advising session with Dr. Finkel before you compose your personal statement, followed by Dr. Finkel’s expert editing, will make you a more compelling applicant. Prior to your advising session, Dr. Finkel reviews your background. During your session, she brainstorms individually-tailored essay topics, suggests an explicit outline, pinpoints how to highlight strengths and address weaknesses, and reviews clichés to avoid. Upon receiving your personal statement draft, Dr. Finkel’s comprehensive edits tighten your organization, form, focus and syntax. The Writer’s Block Package includes up to three revisions of your personal statement.
