Your personal statement is critical to distinguish you from the swarm of competitive post baccalaureate candidates. A one-on-one advising session with Dr. Finkel before you compose your personal statement, followed by Dr. Finkel’s expert editing, will make you a more compelling applicant. Prior to your advising session, Dr. Finkel reviews your background. During your session, she brainstorms individually-tailored essay topics, suggests an explicit outline, pinpoints how to highlight strengths and address weaknesses, and reviews clichés to avoid.
