The following checklist of materials, when sent in advance of a Strategy Session, Mock Interview or Writer’s Block Package, allows Dr. Finkel to provide individually tailored advice for applicants to post baccalaureate pre-medical programs. Those applicants able to send all or most of these items will benefit from more specialized and case-specific recommendations.
a. High school and college transcripts (unofficial copies okay) with your GPA calculated
b. Scores from standard admissions tests, including SAT, ACT and/or GRE (unofficial copy okay)
c. Curriculum Vitae (first drafts okay)
d. List of recommendation letter writers & academic position, if appropriate
e. Personal Statement(s) (first draft okay)

Dr. Finkel is a graduate of Stanford University and Harvard Medical School. On completing her residency at Harvard, she was asked to stay on as faculty at Harvard Medical School and spent five years teaching at the world-renowned Massachusetts General Hospital. She was appointed to the Assistant Residency Director position for the Harvard Affiliated Emergency Medicine Residency where she reviewed countless applications, personal statements and resumes.
